Hello everyone. I've been on the forum for many years now. The information for bus schedules in the forum dates back more than 10 years, and the Caribe Tours website has not populated its schedule for at least a month. That's a recurring problem.
This is the official website just in case it's working the day you need information. https://caribetours.com.do/horarios-de-salida/
If someone knows the hourly schedule from LAS AMERICAS (Santo Domingo area) Samana highway... please reply and repost it here. That would include routes to Sanchez, Las Terrenas, and Samaná. At this moment, I need to know about the schedules after 3 pm to Samaná.
The bus company next to Caribe Tour has its schedule too. It would be great to post that here also if someone has that.
Also if you have asked the driver to drop you off on the way, any suggestions for future travelers for doing so would be appreciated!!
My experience: Inform the drivers if you have a specific location on the highway you need to be dropped off. If it's a popular drop-off location, the drivers will move your luggage inside the bus so you can quickly get off at your stop and not need the driver's assistance. Usually, they move it when at the Caribe stop in Sanchez.
Thanks for any help for me and the hundreds of others that will need this now or in the future.
