UN Security Council ambassadors visit

The Ministry of Foreign Relations reports the visit of 10 ambassadors from different countries, some of them members of the UN Security Council who are officially are visiting to learn about the progress and development of the Dominican Republic in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The diplomats include the current president of the Security Council, Ambassador Vanessa Frazier, of Malta; and Ambassador Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett of Guyana, who chairs the United Nations Haiti Sanctions Committee.

Also making up this group of ambassadors are the permanent representatives to the UN of Bahrain, Jamal Fares Alrowaiei; from Benin, Marc Hermanne Gninadoou Araba; from Greece, Evangelos Sekeris; Indonesia, Arrmanatha Christiawan Nasir; from Kuwait, Tareq M.
