The Grupo Corripio, the largest media association in the country, announces affiliate media are making available free air time and coverage for the presidential candidates in the Dominican Republic. The presidential election is set for Sunday, 19 May 2024.
The schedule for presentations is:30 April 2024: President Luis Abinader (Partido Revolucionario Moderno – PRM)1 May 2024: Abel Martinez (Partido de la Liberacion Dominicana – PLD)2 May 2024: Leonel Fernandez (Fuerza del Pueblo – FP)3 May 2024: Miguel Vargas Maldonado (Partido Revolucionario Dominicano – PRD)
The program will be conducted by Roberto Cavada and José Monegro, with a repeat on the next day at 7am.
The presidential candidate presentations will continue with minority party candidates given free time live at 7am. The moderators for these candidates will be Adalberto Grullon and Edith Febles.
