Vice President Raquel Peña was in Punta Cana to give the keynote speech at the opening of the 3rd ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium, gathering civil aviation board members and aviation experts from around the world.
The Vice President highlighted that hosting this type of event in the country is a recognition of the growing importance of the Dominican Republic in the field of global aviation.
“By being held in the Dominican Republic, it underlines the privileged location of the nation, and its commitment to excellence and innovation in the sector,” emphasized the Vice President.
