From April 19 to 21 the Club Hípico Las Colinas will be hosting the Gran Premio Las Colinas tournament, the first of its kind.
The tournament will include horses from the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, and Puerto Rico.
The tournament will include competition of around 30 riders from around the world, including from the United States.
The president of the organizing committee says “this event will mark a before and after in Dominican equestrian sports.”
Club Hípico Las Colinas is in Santo Domingo close to the US Embassy and the Isabella River. Though technically it borders the Cuesta Hermosa gated community, access is from Majluta Ave geading to Santo Domingo Norte but before the bridge,
