My Domincan friend owns a deeded lot near a resort outside Puerto Plata. She went to inspect the property and found somebody moved a bunch of storage containers, and heavy equipment onto the property. Basically made it a construction site storage lot. They've got front loaders, a steam roller, back hoes and more up on the lot. She got an order for removal but can't pay the sheriff or a company to come remove the equipment. Anyone know of a company that would confiscate and store it on commission? Has to be hundreds of thousands worth of heavy equipment there.

Surely she has friends like your goodself ....so who needs a company ........move the stuff yourselves
Surely some locals know exactly who stored the equipment there. There are rarely any secrets in the DR. FIND THE OWNERS AND GET THEM TO REMOVE IT.
PS. Sell it for scrap. Any questions if the owners ever show up; someone is stealing it so you better get the rest of it outta here before it's all gone. When in Rome...

Anyone that would invade someone’s property shouldn’t be trusted to be a good tenant.
LOL...if that was stolen equipment the "seller" who put up the sign , would be complicit in the crime,no?
This is the first and only post from OP... why is he/she believable?
The problem is she is 'soltera' with no real resources to pay to remove the equipment. The stuff they put on her land is huge and very expensive. This is not a simple mistake. Whoever moved in on her land knows they don't belong there but also knows she has no way to force them out. She said she has an order for removal but needs to pay for someone to do it. She is NOT asking me for the money if that's what you're thinking. I'm just asking here what locals might do in this situation with the facts at hand. Can the local police make them move off the land if she can show them a valid order for removal?
It's huge equipment and would have to be driven off or flatbed trucked out. We're talking road graders, steam rollers, bulldozers and back hoes. As well as 3 huge storage containers and assorted trucks.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Edit: Just wondering.. How long has it been there? Contractors with equipment like that usually don't leave them laying around without producing. It sounds like most are road equipment. Is there any roadwork going on close by?
