I think they should hold a Miss Campo contest. No makeup, hair extensions, fake nails or high heels. Just a baseball cap, tight jeans, tank top and flip flops. Then you would see the real natural beauties of the country.

Sadly, the campo ain’t what it used to be. I see it firsthand. Rubber flip flops and hair in rollers by day, but those stilettos and makeup come out with dusk and they totter off to the colmado. Even our maid showed up with long fake nails after about 2 weeks working for us. The only thing I haven’t seen are the hair extensions. Yet.
