Police/immigration raids in Veron and Friusa barrios (Punta Cana) disclosed by foreign residents sometimes involve sweeps at 4:00 am - 6:00 am into the homes of the foreign residents. Some foreigners aware of rapidly approaching raids will run out of their homes and hide. The police, according to the residents, enter the homes and steal anything of value. The immigration agent(s) this time took a minor's virtue?
