The Gran Teatro del Cibao is in Santiago de los Caballeros by the Monumento a la Restauración de la República. It's a replica in architectural design of the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Santo Domingo, but improved and slightly bigger to make it the largest theater in the Dominican Republic. It was built by Dr Joaquín Balaguer and inaugurated in 1995, becoming the most important venue of the escenic arts outside Santo Domingo.

El Gran Teatro del Cibao se inauguró en agosto de 1995 y su diseño estuvo a cargo del arquitecto Teófilo Carbonell. El edificio esta rodeado de jardines y se encuentra frente al Monumento a los Héroes de la Restauración, en la ciudad de Santiago de los Caballeros.
